She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine from Cleveland Clinic Health System, Cleveland, Ohio, and then moved on to the University of Kentucky at Lexington to do Fellowship training in Endocrinology. She has won awards for academic merit and was the Chief Fellow of the Endocrinology Fellowship Program. She is active in teaching and training medical, PA and nursing students. She is a staff member of the Orlando Health Hospital System. Deepa Taneja, MD is an active member of the Endocrine Society, and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. With her specialized training, she strives to improve the awareness and provide state of art management of endocrinological ailments in the community.
